Born in a converted Brooklyn warehouse in 2014, WQMC Radio began as three obsessives with salvaged equipment and a refusal to fit the corporate playlist mold. We launched at 2:13 a.m. with a single microphone and a manifesto taped to the wall.
Ten years later, that basement frequency stretches across continents. We remain independent, listener-funded, and committed to the artists, journalists, and storytellers who shape culture from the margins upward.
